Samples from students

Many of the 30 students in the two sections of JMC 194, beginning newswriting, at Murray State University embraced this assignment. Several said that it encouraged them to pursue their journalism careers in a converged media environment. Others said it helped them to understand more about the stories in the news by making their own news stories.
